I am ready to go to Spain. I am ready to visit the rest of Europe. I want to travel alone. I feel that the richest experiences to be had while traveling are the ones had while traveling alone. One meets more people that way. One is able to see what one wants, when one wants. And only when alone does one truly see more.

I'm ready to go. My mother is not ready for me to go. She does not want her little girl traveling alone and taking the train and spending the night in foreign countries by herself. I understand her concern, a young girl traveling alone can be more vulnerable, but this is something I want so badly. Would that I were a guy! No. I take that back...
