last post in town

Well, it looks like this will be the last time I will add to my blog in the United States. I leave for Spain tomorrow, bright and early. The next time I post in the States I will be a different, older, more mature (one would hope) person. The reason I started this blog was to record my thoughts and experiences during this year abroad. Soon it will be put to the use it was intended for. Who knows the next time I will have access to the internet? Who knows when I will post next? Who knows? Soon enough.

The plan is to arrive in Madrid on the 17th where I will be picked up by my aunt. I will stay with my aunt's family for ten days and see other family. For my stay in Madrid I will mostly be an independent, museum-going, touristy flâneuse reacquainting myself with the Spanish language and preparing myself for the year that awaits me. On the 27th I will be taken to the train station by my cousin where I will board the train that will take me to my home for the year. Sevilla. Well, there's no stopping me know. I'm practically there.
